caretaker of the garden who lives in the garden shed with collection of sentient dolls.

history . . .

eleanor possesses a very special power: the ability to animate anything to come to life. she uses this power for her job as the caretaker of the garden, by maintaining the life of the flora and fauna both native to the local area and imported from other lands during her travels. but she also uses this power to create life for the realm, by animating dolls and objects to come to life and work and live in her garden. she is able to do all these things by using the magical properties of her horns. she is the light to the darkness of the world, and she uses this to populate the realm and provide liveliness and company to AEREI. her creations are often nonverbal, yet very loyal to eleanor and AEREI. in this sense, eleanor is the giver of life to hyperspace, like a mother to all living things.

eleanor’s daily activities include tending to each area of the garden, teaching her creations in her school, and providing garden tours. as she is a curious scientist by nature, sometimes, she leaves the garden to travel to distant lands and comes back with new specimens and creatures. sometimes, these creatures are or become hostile a general danger to hyperspace. once every few days, eleanor works with these creatures in what she calls the “holding house” (basically a jail) to train them to become more compassionate and remove their hostile energy by microdosing her life magic.

eleanor’s magic comes only at a slight cost. she is prone to losing her magic when she is in dark areas, thus, she always keeps a light source handy if her horns are not enough to light up an area. when she loses grasp of her powers, she becomes as hostile as the creatures she creates, fully transforming into her grotesque sheep form. after the first instance in which this happened, she decided to coin the term “voided” to describe creatures who have strayed away from her light, including herself.

eleanor is a quiet, gentle soul. she serves as a mother-like figure to many, and thus strives to be kind and caring to everyone. she has an impeccable memory and can cater to many different kinds of personalities, as she is easy to befriend and hard to be upset with. eleanor is the epitome of innocence and compassion.

eleanor has a tiny frame, and appears quite fragile. eleanor has white translucent eyes, and pale skin.

her straight pale blonde hair which goes down to the middle of her back is typically pinned up into layers using translucent butterfly clips and bows. she wears two black skeleton hand clips to keep her bangs in place as well.

despite her gentle appearance, eleanor is actually technically a monster. she has a wide mouth, with sharp fangs and a long, black tongue. she also has black claws that she tries her best to keep filed to avoid injuring others.

eleanor uses healing magic from the garden’s waterfall to rid of any injuries she may have, thus, her skin is as clean and smooth as glass.

eleanor wears a white babydoll dress made of spider silk, and a white petticoat underneath. her dress is adorned with black ribbons and bows along the skirt. on top of the dress, she wears a crocheted cardigan, woven into a spiderweb pattern. she wears black maryjane platform shoes with white frilly ankle socks. she also wears a black choker with layered silver chains. around her waist is a black belt bag attached with an herb pouch, a utility bag, and several glass bottles with fertilizing potions.

sometimes, especially in the colder parts of the garden, eleanor will wear a fluffy white coat. additionally, she typically carries around a black parasol, whether rain or shine.
